ABOUT JANET BROADHEAD

Janet Broadhead is a Commerce (Marketing) graduate of the University of New South Wales and holds a Master of Arts (Organisational Communication) degree from Charles Sturt University and a Certificate IV Training & Assessment.

She has over 20 years’ experience in advising organisations on their public relations needs.

Janet’s current focus is on web and e-communication strategies, but her experience includes image development and promotion, national new product launches for major marketers and consumer education and information campaigns, particularly for food and nutrition.

FELLOW OF PRIA

Janet Broadhead was invited by the Board to become a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia on the recommendation of the College of Fellows, following a rigorous process over many months.

The elevation recognizes that Ms Broadhead has made an outstanding contribution to the public relations profession through excellence in achievements and adherence to the highest professional standards, service to the PRIA and pro bono service to community organizations. She is a past chairman of the NSW Registered Consultancies Group and a past Board member of the PRIA (NSW).

BEYOND THE OFFICE

Outside the work sphere, Janet Broadhead is concerned about the environment, and has a passion for beautiful flowers and gardens, fine music, art, architecture, enjoying life with good friends – and her fluffy cat Artemis.
